
Caterham is Policed by Neighbourhood Specialist Officers PC Steve Cochrane, Pc Colette Stoner, Pc Leessa Crouch who are keen to continue their work in the neighbourhood, with residents and Partnership Agencies, resolving key local problems and re-assuring the community as a whole. They are supported in their work by PCSO Nick Stone and PCSO Vicky Seymour who play a major part in dealing with community issues.

NEW MOBILE POLICE SURGERY A SUCCESS! The first MOBILE POLICE SURGERY was held on Monday 27th March in CHALDON VILLAGE. The surgeries will take place between 2 - 3 p.m. every last Monday of the month Those who attended were extremely pleased with this new point of contact for the community. It was great to meet everyone who attended and all those who gave the police vital information. Looking forward to seeing you next time!

CATERHAM SHOPWATCH RADIO LINK The trial period for the SHOPWATCH scheme in Caterham Valley has been a success and it has been agreed by the Caterham Valley Business Partnership that the scheme will stay. It is hoped that new warning signs will be displayed throughout the town over the next few weeks - and that more shops will join the scheme to help combat retail crime. Caterham is no longer a soft target for shoplifters!
YOUNGSTER PLACED ON ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR CONTRACT A 14 year old, one of a few, has today been placed on an Acceptable Behaviour Contract (ABC) in the hope that it will stop him from causing a nuisance to local residents. The youngster was identified with the help of witnesses coming forward to the local Neihbourhood Team and making statements. Residents and shopkeepers at the Raglan Precinct, Caterham on the Hill had suffered for sometime with the bad behaviour of indvidual youngsters and it is hoped that this will emphasise the message that residents and police will work together and stop such unwanted incidents taking place.
BURGLARY RESULT Taking you all back a few weeks, the three youths apprehended in a Burglary Incident by myself and PCSO Stone at the unoccupied Youth Centre, Godstone Road, Caterham Valley fully admitted the offence and all received Cautions via the Surrey Police Intervention Clinic.
PARKING ISSUES Police have been made aware of concerns over parking and vehicles causing an obstruction in the following roads: TUPWOOD LANE BOTTOM OF CHURCH HILL Please note that officers will be patrolling the locations and Penalty Notices will be issued if any offences are disclosed.
